And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him; and he opened his mouth and taught them, saying,
看到众人，他走上山。坐下后，信徒们走上来；他开口教导他们，说：
Blessed are the poor in spirit; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
虚心的人有福了；因为天国是他们的。
Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek; for they shall inherit the earth.
悲伤的人有福了，因为他们将得到安慰。顺从的人有福了，因为他们将继承世界。
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness; for they shall be filled.
对正直如饥似渴的人有福了，因为他们会充满正直。
Blessed are the merciful; for they shall obtain mercy.
慈爱的人有福了，因为他们将得到慈爱。
Blessed are the pure in heart; for they shall see God.
心地纯净的人有福了，因为他们将见到神。
Blessed are the peacemakers; for they shall be called the children of God.
使人和睦的人有福了，因为他们将被称作神的子民。
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
因为正直而受到迫害的人有福了，因为天国是他们的。
Blessed are ye when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
人或因我而辱骂你们、迫害你们、捏造各种恶毒的话诽谤你们，你们有福了。
Rejoice and be exceeding glad; for great is your reward in heaven.
你们应该欢喜快乐，因为你们在天上的回报是大的。
Ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
你们曾经听到古人说，不可背誓，而应该向主遵守誓言；
but I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: nor by the earth;
可是我要对你们说，什么誓都不要起；不要以天国的名义起誓，因为天国是上帝的宝座；
for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
不要以大地的名义起誓，因为大地是上帝的脚凳；不要以耶路撒冷的名义起誓，因为它是王的城市。
Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
不要用你的头起誓，因为你不能命令一根头发变白或变黑。
But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
是，就说是，不是，就说不是；多余的话都是出自邪恶的。
