1. mistake, error, fault, wrong 的辨析：
mistake:错误，指日常生活中判断和看法的错误，是可数名词;
You've made several grammatical mistakes in the composition.
你的作文中犯了几处语法错误。
It was a mistake to tell him.
告诉他是个错误。
error n. 错误，过失，误差
He overlooked a spelling error on the first page.
他没有看出第一页中有个拼写错误。
This error is made by printer.
这个错误是由印刷工造成的。
fault:指“过失的责任或性格上的弱点”;
He has many faults, but vanity is not one of them.
他有很多缺点，但并没有虚荣心。

wrong:做名词时，指“坏事，冤屈，不道德、犯罪”;

2. intense和intensive辨析：
intense是形容词，意为“强烈的，剧烈的”；
