Vice President Xi Jinping says China and Mongolia should take advantage of opportunities in bilateral trade and economic cooperation. Xi made the remarks at a trade forum in Mongolia attended by some 300 outstanding business persons from both countries.

Xi Jinping called on governments and entrepreneurs of both counties to seize opportunities to enhance trade and economic ties.

Xi also put forward proposals on upgrading trade and economic cooperation. He says China and Mongolia should seek common interests based on their own development strategies, and deepen cooperation in key areas.

He says the two countries should work together to create a favorable environment for cooperation within the framework of multilateral organizations such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The vice president says China will continue its policy of reform and opening up and pursue peaceful development.

Xi Jinping also met with Anzan Lundeejantsan, Chairman of the Mongolian state great hural on Friday.

Xi Jinping says China and Mongolia are good neighbors. He says China is willing to enhance mutual trust and deepen cooperation with Mongolia.

Lundeejantsan says Mongolia values its ties with China, and is willing to promote further cooperation. He says the Mongolian state great hural is willing to work with China's National People's Congress to contribute to Sino-Mongolian ties.

Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping concluded a three-day official visit to Mongolia and left here for Saudi Arabia Saturday morning to continue his five-nation Asia tour.
