Kitty: Where have you been? I've been worried to death . I thought you were with the boy, but he phoned a couple of time.

Mara: Oh, did he? How and why? He had to go back to the barracks and I went shopping .

Kitty: Hey, what happened to you? Who-whose dress is that?

Mara: It's mine. Kitty: Yours?

Mara: Yes, I spent my last penny on it.

Kitty: Are you crazy ? Mara: Yes, quite, quite. I bought a hat, a lovely hat, and shoes, and bags, and gloves, and wasn't it a dream, Kitty? It's my wedding dress.

Kitty: What? Oh Mara, you don't mean it!

Mara: Yes, I'm going to married. Kitty: Oh darling...Oh good...Wonderful...When? When and how?

Mara: Tomorrow morning , at Maris Church. Kitty, I'm so madly happy!

Kitty: Oh darling, I can't believe it!
