The hottest movie in China recently is "Tiny Times". The movie directed by star novelist Guo Jingming has even knocked superhero blockbuster "Man of Steel" off the top of China's box office charts. Despite being a big success at the box office, it's also caused controversy, especially on social networking sites.

《小时代》里顾里说：“没有物质的爱情不过是一盘沙。不用风吹,走几步就散了。”电影中似乎也随时表现着唯物质论的观点，不管是主角们靓丽的服装还是奢华的生活场景，因此这部电影不可避免地被批“过于物质”。但物质就真的意味着幸福吗？

《小时代》票房三天已过2亿元被评毫无价值

早前，著名影评人周黎明在微博中写道："中国电影突飞猛进，《富春山居图》创造的超级烂片超级卖座纪录，不足一个月便将被《小时代》所超越。《小时代》之烂远远超过《富春山居图》，它的炫富和堆砌达到一种病态的境界。"随后他又讽刺《小时代》无文学韵味。没想到，这一评论立马遭到粉丝围攻。

《小时代》电影在全国上映的口碑相当糟糕

一边是疯狂粉丝排片率、上座率吓死人。满场90后女生，不停尖叫，不停拍照；好多女孩子看着银幕中的男主角自言自语"好帅、好好帅"，甚至一边尖叫一边拿手机对着银幕录影，还孜孜不倦地向身边观众剧透。一边是吐槽狂欢"贱人就是矫情""富"是检验"高富帅"的唯一标准，这句话用在郭敬明身上很合适。对郭敬明来说，关键时刻帅和高都可以忽略不计。而这句话用在电影《小时代》上同样恰当。总结该片风格："崇尚物欲、无病呻吟、炫耀美色……用一句话概括：贱人就是矫情。"
