US President Donald Trump said Wednesday Ukraine could "forget about" joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and he would try to get Ukraine as much land as possible from Russia.
美国总统特朗普26日称，乌克兰“可以忘掉”加入北约一事，他将努力从俄罗斯手中争取尽可能多的土地。
Trump confirmed that Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit the White House on Friday to sign a long-sought minerals deal "where we're going to get the money back".
特朗普证实，乌克兰总统弗拉基米尔·泽伦斯基（Volodymyr Zelensky）将于周五访问白宫，签署一项期待已久的矿产协议，“我们将拿回这笔钱”。
"NATO, you can forget about it," Trump told reporters before convening a meeting of his cabinet members inside the White House.
特朗普在白宫召开内阁会议之前对记者说：“北约，你可以忘了它。”
"I think that's probably the reason the whole thing started," he said.
"我认为，这也许就是一切开始的原因。”他说。
The president made the remarks when asked what concessions he would like to see at the negotiating table with Russia.
当被问及乌克兰应就结束乌克兰危机谈判做出哪些让步时，总统发表了上述言论。
"President Zelensky is going to be coming on Friday, that is now confirmed," Trump said, adding that he and Zelensky will be "signing an agreement, which will be a very big agreement."
特朗普称，泽连斯基将于28日访美，此事现在已经确认。他还说，他和泽伦斯基将“签署一项协议，这将是一项非常大的协议。”
The US president further added that his administration is "happy about" the deal, adding, "We've been able to make a deal where we're going to get our money back and we're going to get a lot of money in the future, and I think that's appropriate."
美国总统进一步补充说，“我们正在谈的协议将给我们带来巨大财富”，“我们将收回我们的钱，并且未来会收回很多钱”。
Trump, who has been trying to broker peace for the three-year conflict between Kiev and Moscow, also said that he will try to let Ukraine take back as much Ukrainian territory as possible.
特朗普还表示，他将努力让乌克兰尽可能多地收回乌克兰领土。特朗普一直试图为基辅和莫斯科之间持续了三年的冲突斡旋。
"We're going to do the best we can to make the best deal we can for both sides, but for Ukraine, we're going to try very hard to make a good deal so that they can get as much back as possible. We want to get as much back as possible," he said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he was willing to step down as president if that would mean Ukraine could become a member of NATO.
泽连斯基曾表示如果能用他的辞职换取乌克兰加入北约，他愿意辞去总统职务。
