China is aiming to establish a quality and balanced basic public education system by 2027, according to a new set of guidelines jointly released by the general offices of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council.
近日，中共中央办公厅、国务院办公厅印发了《关于构建优质均衡的基本公共教育服务体系的意见》。意见指出，到2027年，优质均衡的基本公共教育服务体系初步建立。
When education in a country thrives, the country will thrive, and strong education makes a strong nation. Building a leading country in education serves as a strategic precursor of building a great modern socialist country in all respects, an important support for achieving greater self-reliance and strength in science and technology, an effective approach to promoting common prosperity for all, and a fundamental project to advance the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts through a Chinese path to modernization.
教育兴则国家兴，教育强则国家强。建设教育强国，是全面建成社会主义现代化强国的战略先导，是实现高水平科技自立自强的重要支撑，是促进全体人民共同富裕的有效途径，是以中国式现代化全面推进中华民族伟大复兴的基础工程。
