Hongkong Post will issue a set of special stamps themed on characters from Louis Cha's novels on Dec 6.
香港邮政将于12月6日发行一套以查良镛小说人物为主题的特别邮票。
Cha began weaving his martial arts world under the pen name Jin Yong in 1955 and by 1972 he had written 15 immensely popular novels.
查良镛1955年开始以“金庸”为笔名编织他的武侠世界,至1972年共创作了15部脍炙人口的小说。
The release of the special stamps commemorates Cha's extraordinary life and timeless work. He died at the age of 94 on Oct 30.
这套特别邮票的发行是为了纪念金庸非凡的一生和不朽的巨著。金庸于今年10月30日逝世,享年94岁。
The stamps feature unforgettable characters from seven of his well-known novels. The characters are drawn by renowned comic artist Lee Chi-ching using traditional Chinese painting techniques.

Hongkong Post will also launch the first stamp booklet with 30 stamps featuring Zhang Wuji, the protagonist of "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber", practicing tai chi.
