Nevertheless, for accepting the king's proposal, Lalla Salma laid set laws, prior courtship, insisting on a monogamous marriage alliance. Thus on July 13 2002, they were married in Rabat, Morocco. For ages, the kings of Morocco had kept their brides and wives hidden.
