The Apple computer company is devising a new television, nicknamed the iTV, which not only hears your shouts and sees your gestures — but can understand them too.

These gestures could be used, for example, to edit videos or transfer footage from the TV to a telephone. iPhones have recently been given new voice control abilities which could potentially be used on the new television.
