新中国60年的发展进步充分证明，只有社会主义才能救中国，只有改革开放才能发展中国、发展社会主义、发展马克思主义。中国人民有信心、有能力建设好自己的国家，也有信心、有能力为世界作出自己应有的贡献。

重点词汇： prove v. 证明, 查验, 显示
1）可以用作及物动词，后面直接跟宾语，表示“说明”如：
She claimed that money had been wasted and our financial difficulties seemed to prove her point.

2) 可用作系动词，直接接形容词做表语，表示“证明”，如：
