1) value既可以做名词的时候也有多种意思，可以表示“价值，价格”，例如：

The expert set a value of 10, 000 dollars on the painting.
专家给这幅画定价1万美元。

2) 还可以表示“实用性，有价值，重要性”，例如：

Good books are of great value to students.
好书对学生非常有用。

3) 另外还有一个意思是“价值标准，价值观，职业道德，行业准则”，例如：

Our values and behaviour patterns are different from yours.
我们的价值观念和行为模式与你们的不同。

4) 在本句中，value做动词表示“重视，尊重”，例如：

I valued my friendship with my classmates.
我珍视我和同学们之间的友谊。

5) value作动词还有一个意思是“估价”，例如：

I valued the bike at 200 dollars.
我估计这辆自行车值200美元。
