内蒙古巴彦淖尔市卫生健康委员会发布消息，2020年7月5日，巴彦淖尔市乌拉特中旗温更镇1名牧民在乌拉特中旗人民医院就诊期间，经专家组确诊为腺鼠疫病例。患者发病前曾在鼠疫疫源地内活动。

Bayannur in the Inner Mongolian autonomous region reported a confirmed bubonic plague case on Sunday, according to an announcement released by the Bayannur City Health Commission on Sunday evening.

内蒙古自治区巴彦淖尔市卫生健康委员会周日晚上通报，巴彦淖尔周日确诊一例鼠疫病例。

bubonic plague是鼠疫。
2020年7月5日，巴彦淖尔市乌拉特中旗（Urad Middle Banner）温更镇1名牧民（herder），在乌拉特中旗人民医院就诊期间，经专家组确诊为腺鼠疫病例。患者发病前曾在鼠疫疫源地（source areas of bubonic plague）内活动。目前，该患者已在当地医院隔离治疗（under quarantine），病情平稳（in stable condition）。
5日，巴彦淖尔市发布鼠疫防控Ⅲ级预警信息（a level 3 public health emergency response was activated）。该市自2020年7月5日起进入预警期，预警时间持续到2020年底。
巴彦淖尔卫健委表示，当前巴彦淖尔市存在人间鼠疫疫情传播的风险，请广大公众切实做好个人防护（get prepared for prevention），提高自我防护意识（be highly aware of self-protection）和能力。
专家提醒，不私自捕猎疫源动物、不剥食疫源动物（skin epidemic animals）、不私自携带疫源动物及其产品出疫区（outbreak area）；发现病（死）旱獭（marmot）及其他动物要报告、发现疑似鼠疫病人（suspected cases of bubonic plague）要报告、发现不明原因的高热病人和急死病人（any symptoms of fever or acute patients）要报告。
按照国家、自治区鼠疫控制应急预案的要求，巴彦淖尔市卫生健康委将根据鼠疫疫情预警的分级（in accordance with the levels of the bubonic plague pandemic），及时发布和调整预警信息（adjust the information of emergency response）。
