To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, a series of scenic spots and parks across the country will cut their ticket prices or even offer free admission.

为庆祝中华人民共和国成立70周年，全国各地多个景点和公园的门票将降价或免费。

10月1日当天，颐和园（the Summer Palace）、天坛公园（Temple of Heaven Park）、北京动物园、北京植物园、香山公园、园博园（Beijing Garden Expo Park）、北京国际雕塑公园（Beijing International Sculpture Park）等北京市18家知名（renowned parks）公园将免费开放，其中9家公园“免费不免票”（still need tickets to visit these attractions），市民和游客（citizens and tourists）需通过相关网站、微信公众号、App进行预约（reserve），并到指定地点（designated sites）兑换门票（exchange tickets），当日凭门票入园。
除首都（capital city）之外，其他省市的多个景点（scenic spots）均将降价，包括一些热门旅游目的地（popular tourist destinations）。
在浙江，4A旅游景区（4A level tourist destination）大佛寺（Grand Buddha Temple）文化旅游区门票将由100元/人次下降（cut down）至80元/人次，新票价将从国庆（National Day）前一天9月30日起实行。
在河南，相关部门要求，对纳入降价范围的4A、5A景区，务必在“十一”前推出一批降价景区并公布降价方案（launch price reduction programs）。
近年来，发改委（the National Development and Reform Commission）多次发文（issued a number of papers）要求各地推进门票降价（lower ticket price）工作，让利于民（benefit the public），鼓励旅游产业发展（encourage the boom in the tourism industry）。
