1. Nanshan Culture Tourism Zone
1.南山文化旅游区
The Nanshan Culture Tourism Zone is located 40 km(24 miles)southwest of Sanya City in the Hainan Province. Countless visitors flock to the area，drawn by the beauty of Nanshan Mountain(South Mountain)，making it a principal ecotourism zone. Visitors are also attracted to the area because of the profound Buddhist influence on the surrounding culture. The zone features three theme parks: Buddhism Culture Park,Blessing and Longevity Park，and Hainan Custorn Culture Park.
南山文化旅游区域距海南省三亚市西南40公里( 24英里)。南山的美丽景色吸引了无数的游客，使她成为一个主要的生态旅游区。这里之所以吸引大批游客，还因为佛教对南山周边文化的深刻影响。旅游区的一大特色是其3个主题公园:南山佛教文化园，福寿文化园和海南风情文化园。
Buddhism Culture Park was developed to portray the Buddhist culture and help people understand its profound philosophy. Highlights included the Nanshan (South Mountain)Temple，the statue of the South China Sea Kwan-yin Bodhisattva,the China Buddhism Culture Institute and the Kwan-yin Park. Visitors are awed by the giant sea-side statue of Kwan-yin which stands 108 meters(353.33 feet)high. A second statue of Kwan-yin，located nearby，stands 3.8 meters high(12. 47 feet ) and was constructed out of gold，diamonds and jade，among other precious stones. It is said thaf its craftsmen used over 100 kg of gold to make this statue.

Blessing and Longevity Park embodies the essence of Chinese culture，conveying an atmosphere of peace and fortune. Hainan Custom Culture Park is filled with the characteristics of Hainan Province. It takes advantage of its picturesque location (by Nanshan Mountain)to showcase tropical scenery and the customs of Li and Miao ethnic minorities.
福寿文化园体现了中国文化的精髓，传递着和平和好运。海南风情文化园到处显现着海南省的特色，并利用其独特的位置(依傍南山),展示着热带风景和黎族、苗族少数民族的风情。
In the Nanshan Culture Tourism Zone .you will be able to feast your eyes on the beautiful location，while dining on the area renowned vegetarian dishes. Cooks make use of wild mushrooms and other vegetables when preparing delicious and nutritious dishes.

After you dine，be sure to attend the classical concert and kung fu performance. The concert band is comprised of 14 Chinese young girls. They use traditional instruments such as the Erhu，zither，lute(pipa)，and flute，to create beautiful Chinese Music. The Chinese kung fu performance is splendid as well. One cannot fully appreciate the skill and technique of Chinese kung fu without witnessing a live performance such as this one.
用餐后，一定要参加古典音乐会和功夫表演。音乐会乐队由14位年轻中国姑娘组成、他们用传统的乐器，如二胡、古筝、琵琶以及长笛等，弹奏出美妙的中国音乐。中国功夫表演也是极好的。如果没有亲眼目睹现场表演，就不能完全理解中功夫这项技能。

2. Wuzhizhou Island
2.蜈支州岛度假中心
Wuzhizhou Island，in Haitang Bay，has an area of some 1 .48 square kilometers(365一7 acres).With an irregular butterfly-like shape and a total coastline of5 .7 km(3 .54 miles)，the island is about 30 km(18.6 miles)north-east of Sanya City. Wuzhizhou Island was known as Guqizhou Island in ancient times and the earliest records date from the Qing Dynasty(1644一1911)，when a temple was built to commemorate the originator of Chinese characters，Cang Jie一Following the Qing Government's fall from power，the villagers rebuilt the temple to honor the Goddess Matsu，who bestowed good fortune on the local fishermen. From 1949 Wuzhizhou Island became an important strategic defense zone.

However,from the 1990s，the island began to enjoy a completely new role as a romantic place for holiday and leisure.

As the island is in a tropical marine zone，the climate is temperate and pleasant all year round. It is an ideal place for vacation，winter swimming as well as entertainment. There are over 2 700 plant varieties on the island，including the tall trees and dense bushes.

As well as Goddess Matsu Temple，there are many places of interest to visit including the Lover's Bridge，Sunrise Rock，the Gold Turtle Stretching toward the Sea，Lover's Island and the Life Well. The Sunrise Rock is the ideal spot from which to observe the sunrise.

Apart from these natural sites， swimming pools，bars，gymnasiums and other places of entertainment are available in the northwest part of the island. For those who love extreme sports local facilities include surfing，gliding，sailing and canoeing. For relaxation there is sun bathing and sea water bathing. In addition，Wuzhizhou Island is famous for scuba diving as coral reefs and brightly colored tropical fish abound in the warm water. Currently，only a third of the island has been developed.

1 .There are public telephones on the island，and phones in the hotel rooms are available subject to a deposit. Cell phone signals are good in the vacation village，on Sunrise Rock up in the mountains as well as on the nearby seashore.

2. There are outlets on the island where one can rent diving equipment and under-water cameras.

3 .In order to avoid sunburn，sun-bloc，hats and sunglasses are necessary.Summer clothes are suitable at most times as the annual average temperature is 25℃一30℃.But from January to March，long-sleeved T-shirts or similar should be taken as the temperatures in the morning and evening are low.

4. It is about 38km(23，6 miles) from the Sanya Fenghuang(Phoenix) International Airport(SYX)to Wuzhizhou Wharf. It takes just over fifty minutes by taxi.

5. As there is no direct bus available from Sanya city center to Wuzhizhou Wharf, the best options are a taxi or a self-drive hire car to the Wuzhizhou Wharf. It takes about CNY50 for a one-way trip and CNY150-CNY200 for a round trip. There are ferries from 7：40 am to 6:00 pm every 20 minutes to the island. It takes 10 minutes to reach the island by ferry.
5.因为没有从三亚市中心到蜈支州岛码头的直达车，所以最好的选择是乘出租车或者租车自驾到蚁支州岛码头。单程约50元，往返150~200元。从上午7 :40到下午6：00,每20分钟有到岛!的船渡，乘渡船到达该岛需10分钟。
6. As well as the Wuzhizhou Wharf, the Summer Wharf with its two berths is also used to land at the island. It is open from March each year depending upon the change of seasons instead of the Wuzhizhou Wharf.
