NHK: Abe to include 'apology' in WWII statement
安倍或将在声明中道歉
Japan's NHK says that Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe plans to include the words 'apology' and 'aggression' in his statement marking the 70th anniversary of World War Two's end.
Abe has been discussing the draft statement with senior members of his party and coalition parter Komeito. The draft is also expected to contain the words "deep remorse " and "colonial rule". All were used in statements by then Prime Minister Tomiichi Murayama in 1995 and Junichiro Koizumi a decade later.
