Southern China braces for more torrential rain

Much of southern China has been dealing with frequent torrential rains for more than three weeks And more are on the way.
Heavy downpours are sweeping over Hunan Province, with thunder and gales in some areas. 1.5 million people in the province have been affected and the number is expected to rise.
The China Central Meteorological Bureau is issuing emergency warnings for much of the south, requiring preparations to tackle potential flooding and other disasters.
The Bureau forecasts that rainfall will be especially heavy in the provinces of Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, and Zhejiang over the following two days. The wet weather could be followed by another storm system from June 10th to 13th.
