Anger in Germany over second U.S. spy suspect
美国间谍案引德国愤怒
Another case of a suspected U.S. spy in Germany has come to light. As a result, a government spokesman says Germany has asked a U.S. intelligence official at the embassy in Berlin to leave the country. And Angela Merkel voiced her strongest comments yet:
美国又一起疑似间谍案在德国浮出水面。结果，政府发言人表示，德国要求美国驻柏林大使馆一名情报官离开德国。德国总理安哥拉·默克尔发表了有史以来最严厉的评论：
(SOUNDBITE) (German) GERMAN CHANCELLOR, ANGELA MERKEL, SAYING: "The Federal Prosecutor General is still looking into this case. But if what we hear right now is true, I have to say that from my point of view, spying on allies is a waste of energy in the end. We have so many problems, and I think we should focus on the important things. Just look at the challenges posed in Syria regarding ISIS. If you look at the fight against terrorism, there are huge problems. That is of the highest priority from my point of view, and not spying among allies."

German members of parliament are demanding a full investigation. They say friends must not be treated like enemies.

(SOUNDBITE) (German) DEPUTY HEAD OF PARLIAMENTARY CONTROL COMMITTEE, ANDRé HAHN, SAYING: "Regarding embassy personnel, it is absolutely clear that those who participated in espionage activities must be expelled. Normally, they have diplomatic status, and they cannot be prosecuted."

The second spy case comes days after a German foreign intelligence agency worker was arrested, suspected of being a CIA informant.

Texas gunman surrenders to police

A suspect in a Texas shootout gets out of his car and surrenders to police. This was the moment a four-hour stand off came to an end. Authorities say the man, who has not been identified, is believed to have killed at least six people, including four children, in a domestic dispute.

Police tracked him down after one of his victims, a 15-year-old girl who was shot but survived, managed to tell police where he was going after he fled the scene. A thirty minute car chase followed, and officers were able to head him off in this Cul-de-sac. They believe the man was on his way to shoot more relatives.

Indonesian presidential candidates both celebrate victory

Supporters of Indonesian presidential candidate Joko Widodo celebrate an election victory. Just hours after voting closed,the candidate, also known as Jokowi, said quick counts of more than 90 percent of the votes showed that he would be the next president of the world's third largest democracy.
印尼总统选举候选人佐科(Joko Widodo)的支持者庆祝选举胜利。投票结束几小时之后，候选人佐科表示，对超过90%的选票进行的快速统计显示他将成为世界上第三大民主国家的总统。

But across town, supporters of Indonesia's other presidential candidate, Prabowo Subianto, were also celebrating, as the former General declared that he was the winner of the election.
但是在各个城镇，印尼另外一位总统候选人普拉博沃(Prabowo Subianto)的支持者也在庆祝。这位前将军宣布他是选举的获胜者。
(SOUNDBITE) (Bahasa Indonesia) PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE PRABOWO SUBIANTO SAYING: "The candidates team number one, Prabowo-Hatta, have received the support and mandate from the people of Indonesia."

Voters will have to wait about two weeks before the official result is announced. In the meantime, neither candidate appears likely to back down.
