Two Cockroaches
两只蟑螂
Two cockroaches were munching on garbage in an alley when one engages a discussion about a new restaurant.
两只蟑螂正在一条胡同里的垃圾堆上大吃特吃，一只开始谈论一家新开张的餐厅。
"I was in that new restaurant across the street," said one. "It's so clean! The kitchen is spotless, and the floors are gleaming white. There is no dirt anywhere-it's so sanitary that the whole place shines."
“我去了街对面那家新餐厅，”它说，“那儿太干净了！厨房里一尘不染，地板洁白得闪闪发亮。哪儿都没有脏东西，那地方整洁卫生得都发光了。”
"Please," said the other cockroach frowing. "Not while I'm eating!"
