China surpasses U.S. as biggest goods trading country

Fresh trade data has been released by China's Ministry of Commerce. It shows China has surpassed the U.S. as the biggest goods trading country.
The Data shows China's total trade volume in 2013 stood at a record 4.16 trillion U.S. dollars.
The World Trade Organization has confirmed that China's goods trade in 2013 was 250 billion U.S. dollars more than the U.S.. Among it, its exports reached 2.21 trillion U.S. dollars and imports 1.95 trillion dollars.
The Commerce Ministry spokesman says it is a milestone for China's foreign trade development and is the result of deepening reform and opening-up and actively participating in economic globalization.
