Born and raised 土生土长
I am from Guilin, born and raised/bred. (我是土生土长的桂林人)
关于born的常用的短语还有， be born to be/do something (注定要成为，注定要做）；born with a siliver spoon in one's mouth(含着金汤匙长大的，生于富贵之家，出生富贵)；in all my born days (<表示惊讶〉闻所未闻，见所未见）；not be born yesterday (表示自己并不傻，不会轻易相信别人的话）。 举例说明：
1）He was born to be a great interpreter. ( 他注定是个伟大的翻译）
2）Prince Harry was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. (哈里王子是含着金汤匙长大的）
3）I have never heard such a nonsense in all my born days. (我这辈子还没有听过这样的废话呢）
4）Stop bragging about yourself. I wasn't born yesterday, you know. ( 不要自吹自擂了！我可不是三岁小孩， 你知道。）
