Thai anti-gov't protesters take to the streets for a third day
泰国反政府抗议者连续第三天示威
Thousands of anti-government protesters marched for a third day through central Bangkok, keeping up pressure on the government to resign.
As well as mass marches, the protesters have occupied key road junctions and blocked government buildings in hopes of bringing the administration to a halt. Protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban called on supporters on Wednesday to shut down all government offices. He also called them to cut water and electricity to the private residences of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and her Cabinet "in the next two or three days."
Two protesters were injured in Bangkok on Wednesday in a shooting near an anti-government protest site. No one has been arrested so far. Police also said there was a loud blast at the residence of Democrat Party leader and former Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva. No one was hurt in the incident.
