Chinese court upholds celebrity gang-rape verdict

A court in Beijing has affirmed the original verdict for Li Tianyi, after his second trial on Tuesday.
The 17-year-old was among five men who gang-raped a woman at a Beijing hotel in February. Li has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for rape. The case has sparked outcry and heated controversy among the public.
His father, the famous tenor Li Shuangjiang, taught at the Academy of Arts affiliated to the Chinese armed forces. His mother is also a well-known singer.
