青岛油管爆炸死亡人数上升至52人
The death toll from Friday’s oil pipeline blasts in east China’s Shandong Province has risen to 52, while 11 others are still missing.
The powerful blast rocked the Huangdao district, located on the southwest outskirts of Qingdao City. The blast ripped apart roads and damaged buildings, spilling oil into the sea and over a large area of land.
Local authorities have set up barriers and are now cleaning up the oil spill. More than 30 ships have also been dispatched to help. Most of the oil around the port has now been cleaned up.
