莱特兄弟 Wright Brothers
Krissy L. One example of a new idea that drastically changed our lives today was the invention of the fixed-wing aircraft by the Wright brothers, Orville and Wilbur. In the early 1900s, the Wright brothers worked endlessly to create a new form of transportation that would be more convenient than any land or water based transportation. Although the brothers failed many times to produce a working aircraft that would allow humans to fly, on December 17, 1903 they successfully invented and built the world's first airplane. Without air travel, it would take hours or days to travel throughout the world resulting in a less unified and educated globe. The Wright brothers' unique ideas to allow humans to fly began a new age of transportation that made almost anything possible.
