1. unbreakable

2. detach

1. take a moment

讲解：take在这里的意思是“花费”，a moment是一会儿的意思，take a moment意思是“花费一点儿时间”，指花费的时间不多。

2. go on：做事干活

3. on one’s death

讲解：one one’s death是介词短语表示时间，是指逝世者死亡的当天，在中文中通常说为“死亡后”。

例句：On his death the land was divided equally among his sons.

他死后这土地就平分给了他的几个儿子。

4. the heir to

讲解：这是名词性短语，意思是.......的继承人。注意表示......的继承人这个意思时，heir的后面的介词是to，不要用of。

6. owing to：因为，由于

例句：Owing to the bad weather, we didn't go to the park.

7. go down
