TEXT:Protesters were arrested in New York's financial district --- as the movement born out of anger over corporate scandals, marks a milestone. Amanda Montgomery, Occupy Wall Street Protester saying: "Today is Occupy Wall Street's birthday and we are celebrating. We are rising above the corruption and police brutality that could happen, has happened already." Their message to Wall Street ---- we're still here and we aren't going anywhere. EEO STUBBLEFIELD, OCCUPY WALL STREET PROTESTER, SAYING: "I had no idea that the kids were gonna rise up like that and I am so proud of them." Roughly a thousand people took part in the demonstration. It was far fewer than the numbers the movement attracted last fall. Anger over economic inequality gave rise encampments in New York, Washington D.C. and other major U.S. Cities.

3【China conducts navy drill in East China Sea against Japan】中国东海军演直指日本?
TEXT:China conducts a military drill in the East China Sea, amid a territorial dispute with Japan. While the exact date is unclear, the live drill took place after Japan said on Tuesday (September 11) it had purchased islands claimed by both Beijing and Tokyo. Chinese state media said naval exercises are an annual event. News of the drills came as thousands continued anti-Japan rallies in various Chinese cities. Police barricaded the Japanese embassy in Beijing to protect it from protesters. In Shanghai, Japanese restaurants were targeted, and reports said shops were looted and Japanese cars attacked in other cities as well. The dispute escalated on Friday (September 14) when China briefly sent six surveillance ships near the disputed islands. Known as Senkaku in Japan and Diaoyu in China, the islets sit near potentially rich oil and gas fields.

4【Mexican gas plant explosion kills 26】墨西哥燃气厂爆炸致26死
TEXT:At least 26 people are killed when a gas facility in northern Mexico erupts in flames. The explosion at a Pemex natural gas compression station happened near the city of Reynosa - a key entry point for natural gas to Mexico from the United States. Of the dead, four were Pemex staff and 22 were contract workers. A number of people were also injured, according to local media. At a news conference late on Tuesday, the company's director confirmed the casualties and promised that the cause of the blaze would be investigated. The fire also disrupted gas distribution in the area after pipelines were shut as a safety precaution. But company officials said gas imports from the United Stated were not affected.
