Michigan is America's auto manufacturing center with Detroit being known as 'Motown': 密歇根是美国汽车生产的中心，位于此州的底特律别名为“汽车城”

Michigan shares many similarities with China's Northeast: 密歇根和中国东北有着不少相似之处

表达“东北”这样的方位时，英语和中文的语序是相反的。比如

Northeast: 东北

Northwest: 西北

The Michigan accent is strong on nasal sounds and emphasis on 'a': 密歇根口音的鼻音很重，而且会突出'a'的发音

比如accent，听起来像‘Aaaahccent’，coffee听起来像‘cahfee’
