Cash: 现金、钞票

关键是记住它是不可数名词，再多的现金，也千万不能加s。

最高频的现金表达

A lot of cash: 很多现金

A ton/pile of cash: 很多现金

Rich with cash: 现金充沛

Pay by/in/with cash: 现金支付

They don't accept cards. We can only pay by cash: 他们不收卡，只能付现金。

I don't have any cash on me: 我身上没有任何现金。（形容身上带的钱，要用介词on）

You should always bring some cash just in case: 最好一直带着些现金，以防万一。

I don't have much cash left. I need to take out some: 我剩下的现金不太够了，我要去取点钱。

Take out cash from the ATM/the bank machine: ATM取款

Withdraw cash: 提现金

withdraw比take out更正式，比如取款机的英语提示就会用这个词，口语里take out更常用些。

Cash还能作动词，最常用是搭配in或者out组成短语

Cash in on something: 利用某种优势赚钱

大家可能觉得怎么又有in，又有on？其实，cash in是一个表达，后面需要加介词on来接具体帮助你变现的资源。

Many bubble tea shops cashed in on the dirty bubble tea trend: 好多奶茶店都抓住了“脏奶茶”的风潮大赚一笔。

He is certainly cashing in on his good looks on social media: 他肯定是利用自己的颜值在社交媒体上圈粉变现。

Celebrities' kids are cashing in on their surnames and giving themselves a head start in showbiz: 星二代利用父母名声的优势在娱乐圈帮自己起步。

Cash out: 兑现、通常指通过出售股票、房产等投资换取现金

I decided to cash out all my various investments: 我决定把各类投资都卖掉兑现。

The company is offering employees the opportunity to cash out their options: 公司提供员工将期权兑现的机会。

最后我们再学一组简单又地道的说法

Cash is king: 现金为王（注意，这个说法里不要加the）

Cash is trash: 不是说现金是垃圾，而是说要用现金来做投资（这个说法里也没有the）

Cash flow: 现金流，更多用于形容企业、机构的现金流

The company has always had a very healthy cash flow: 公司的现金流一直很健康。

Cash crunch: 现金吃紧，可以形容企业、机构或个人

搭配face或be in a cash crunch描述遇到现金吃紧的情况。

Strapped for cash/cash-strapped: 也是缺乏现金的意思，更多用于形容个人

I'm strapped for cash this month: 我这个月手头有点紧。

Cash cow: 直译是“现金奶牛”

指能带来稳定收益的产品、投资或资源。

Office has been a cash cow for Microsoft since its launch: Office从问世以来一直是微软的“现金牛”。

Cash in hand: 有现金储备，不一定是要拿在手里，重点是不需要贷款

The buyers have cash in hand. They are ready to buy anytime: 买家有现金，随时都可以交易。

Cold hard cash: 字面意思是“冷冰冰的现金”

实际使用中并不一定是贬义，主要突出是实际拿在手里的现金。

Looking at numbers in my bank account is one thing, but it sure feels good to have cold hard cash: 看银行账户上的数字是一回事，但把钱实际拿在手里感觉可真好。
