Xiaohong：I have been reading A Book of Beasts all morning and I find that sea serpents are dangerous.

小红：我整个早上都在看《野兽之书》我发现海蛇很危险。

Xiaohua：You mean the ones have long necks that stick out of the sea?

小华：你是说那些有长长的脖子伸出海面的怪物吗?

Xiaohong：Yes. And they have spikes on their necks.

小红：是的。他们的脖子上还有尖刺。

Xiaohua：But the beasts mentioned in the book are all made up.

小华：但书中提到的野兽都是虚构的。

Xiaohong：There's a real one. Are you curious about it? It's called Killer in Water.

小红：有一个真实的。你对此感到好奇吗?叫做水中杀手。

Xiaohua：What is that?

小华：那是什么？

Xiaohong：That's an alligator gar. It's a giant monster fish found in Ruzhou, a city of Pingdingshan, Henan Province. The fish was about 80cm with a pointed mouth and long teeth. And the number of small fish in the lake began to decrease.

小红：那是鳄雀鳝。这是一种在河南省平顶山市汝州发现的巨型怪兽鱼。这条鱼长约80厘米，嘴尖，牙齿很长。湖中小鱼的数量开始减少。

Xiaohua：That's shocking! That must be an alien species. Right?

小华：这是令人震惊的!那一定是外来物种。对吧?

Xiaohong：I don't know, but it originates in North and Central America.

小红：我不知道，但它起源于北美洲和中美洲。

Xiaohua：Is that used as a bio weapon?
