文章讲解
Our dog, Rex, used to sit outside our front gate and bark. Every time he wanted to come into the garden he would bark until someone opened the gate. As the neighbours complained of the noise, my husband spent weeks training him to press his paw on the latch to let himself in. Rex soon became an expert at opening the gate. However, when I was going out shopping last week, I noticed him in the garden near the gate. This time he was barking so that someone would let him out! Since then, he has developed another bad habit. As soon as he opens the gate from the outside, he comes into the garden and waits until the gate shuts. Then he sits and barks until someone lets him out. After this he immediately lets himself in and begins barking again. Yesterday my husband removed the gate and Rex got so annoyed we have not seen him since.

I'm an Indian who lived in United States of America for the last 7 years. In 2009, I went for my Masters degree in biological sciences. After my masters degree, I got a job in pharmaceutical industry. The hardest thing I've ever done is quitting my job for travel.
Everyone (friends, family and relatives) who I know thought I'm crazy. I was very well settled with my life. I had basic things:
I got promoted a year before I quit my job
Bought New car
Nice apartment for myself
I had friends around me who I can trust
Even with all these things in my life I was lacking something. I was used to American culture. I didn't have any problems with that. I had to Find out what I was lacking.
I used to travel a lot. I visited 40 states in the United States of America (USA). I'm the happiest person when I travel. I always wanted to do cross country road trip in USA for like 6 months visiting all national parks. It was my dream and will be my future goal. I'm an immigrant in USA which means I don't get vacation for that long. I wanted to explore the world and learn things that books won't teach you. So one day I decided to leave everything behind and travel. I picked my 30th birthday for that.
One fine day at work me and my manager were having discussions about some major changes to happen. I felt like I'm betraying by not telling them that I will be resigning soon. So I asked my manager for lunch and I told him during our lunch. He was very cool guy and understood. We both had an appointment with our VP the same day and updated him as well. So my day was set. I made it official that 30th of September will be my last day.
I'm also 30 now. Turned 30 this September 2016. My craziest day of my life is 30th of September. Initially I was very excited about my decision. But coming close to September, I had panic attacks, anxiety and all. It's a big change. Leaving everything what I earned in my life. I came from a middle class family in India. So it wasn't easy for me to do that. Like I already mentioned everyone were trying to scare me about how my life will be in future. Trying to tell me not to do it. But I had to find out what I want in my life. So I made my mind.
I made sure all my bills were paid off. Took care of my apartment lease. Found a nice friend of mine willing to take my car. I negotiated to sell car on 30th. I had a truck full of stuff a year before that and by 30th of September, I was left with a backpack. I couldn't sleep well that night. In the morning around 10 am I had to drop off my apartment keys. Around 12pm I gave the car keys to my friend. At 4:30pm I had an exit interview at work. So by 5pm I was jobless, homeless, and no car in USA. All I had was a backpack and a small day pack with me.
It's been 2 months and 15 days and I have no regrets so far. I'm travelling in South America. I Was in Ecuador and now I'm in Colombia. I'm very happy with my craziest decision.
