Vivien: Singapore is really a small country. It is as big as a small city in the United States of America.
维维安：新加坡这个国家真的很小啊，也就只有美国的一个小城市那么大。
Emma: Yes. It is a city state. But Singapore is a huge city with diverse cultural attractions and amazing sights for travelers.
埃玛：是啊，新加坡是个城市型国家。不过虽然小，但是新加坡却有着丰富多样的文化特色和能吸引游客的令人叹为观止的景色。
Vivien: Yeah, I agree. Look at people in the streets. We can see there are Asians, White people and Black people.
维维安：确实，我也这么认为。看看这个街上的人们，有亚洲人、白种人，也有黑种人。
Emma: Yes, you are right. That is why Singapore is called a miniature of Asia for being full of Chinese, Malays, Indians and also a large group of workers and travelers around the globe.
埃玛：对啊。这就是新加坡被称为亚洲的缩影的原因。因为这个地方吸引着中国人、马来西亚人、印度人，还有很多来自世界各地的工人和游客。
