Michael: Have you had your lunch?
Ken: No, I haven't. I went to the nearby Lanzhou Hand-pulled Noodle Shop, only to find it closed.
Michael: Is it out of business?
Ken: It says on the door that it's Ramadan. The shop is run by Hui people, and they are Muslims.
Michael: During Ramadan, they shouldn't eat between sunrise and sunset. But will it be closed for a whole month?
Ken: Who knows? Maybe I'll have to wait until the End of Ramadan to have the noodles, I mean.
Michael: What do they do then?
Ken: They will do house-cleaning, bathing and pray. Then they will be back into business, I guess.
