Sarah: Have you ever seen the movie Midnight in Paris?

Veronica: You mean the one directed by Woody Allen? I don't consider it a great movie, though.

Sarah: It's OK. I'm smitten with the beauty of Paris after watching it! I've never been to Paris, you know. People say it's a city of fashion and romance.
萨拉：还不错，就是看过电影后我被巴黎深深迷住了！你知道的，我从没去过巴黎。大家都说巴黎是时尚和浪漫之都。
Veronica: It is, in a way. For me the charm of Paris lies in the fact that it has been the cultural centre of Europe and a city for artists. Many writers and painters lived in Paris at some time of their career and found inspiration from the city. Like Picasso, the impressionist master, other great painters such as Monet, Manet and Renoir have their works housed in Museums.

Sarah: The city itself seems artistic.

Veronica: Parisian culture is ingrained in the sound of bustling streets, bouncy clubs and splendid operas. Folk music is performed in the streets.

Sarah: I'm going to work harder from now on and save money to go to Paris.
