And then, there's another kind of love: the cruelest kind. The one that almost kills its victims. It's called unrequited love. Of that I am an expert. Most love stories are about people who fall in love with each other. But what about the rest of us? What about our stories, those of us who fall in love alone? We are the victims of the one sided affair. We are the cursed of the loved ones. We are the unloved ones, the walking wounded. The handicapped without the advantage of a great parking space! Yes, you are looking at one such individual. And I have willingly loved that man for over three miserable years! The absolute worst years of my life! The worst Christmas', the worst Birthday's, New Years Eve's brought in by tears and valium. These years that I have been in love have been the darkest days of my life. All because I've been cursed by being in love with a man who does not and will not love me back. Oh god, just the sight of him! Heart pounding! Throat thickening! Absolutely can't swallow! All the usual symptoms.
然而，另有一种爱情，最为残酷，让人为伊消得人憔悴。那就是单恋。这方面，我是个行家。大部分爱情故事里的主角都两情相悦。可我们这些人呢？我们的一厢情愿坠入爱河的的故事哪里去了？我们就是恋上无情流水的有意落花，中了爱情的诅咒。我们可怜没人爱，落得个遍体鳞伤，成了个残疾人还得不到好的停车位！没错，我就是其中一员。这个男人，我苦苦爱了他整整三年！这是我人生最悲惨的岁月。凄凉的圣诞，凄凉的生日，除夕夜以泪洗面，服药入眠。这些被爱情左右的岁月，是我人生最暗无天日的日子。全都是因为我爱上了这个不爱我，也不愿意爱我的男人。哦，天哪，只要看上他一眼，我就心跳加速，喉咙发紧，完全说不出话来！每次都是这样。
