“sleep on sth.”意思是:“彻夜思考;再三权衡” ,这绝对是个五星级的成语,很多英语学习了多年的人也未必对它的用法有很深入的了解。它听起来有点像中文中带讽刺的意味的“垫高枕头想一想”,不过,像归像,“sleep on sth.”却丝毫没有讽刺的意味!下面我再给出两个例句:
