A Tea Maker
The water has the flavor
of the Autumn clouds.
It comes from the quavering
fountain. In the buckets
of sun and moon I carried
it down from the mountain.
My shoulders bearing the
carrying pole have evenly
shared the weight. My foot
has long been on the path
developing an easeful gait.
The tinder I gathered and the
fireplace I made are always
ready under this cypress shade.
I hope you like the water
and the tea I brew. Ah,
this teapot is made by
my beloved potter, that
I forget to tell you.

水是秋云气味的水
