Out of the Hospital, Out of Money

A patient met his doctor on the street, and after
exchanging, "Hello, how are you?" and all that,
the doctor said, "Are you OK?" And the patient
said, "Yes, you were right. You told me that you
would put me on my feet and that I would be
walking again in no time, and you were right."
So the doctor said, "See? I told you. Since when
have you been walking?" The patient answered,
"Since I paid your bill and had to sell my car!"

病也匆匆，钱也匆匆　

一位病人在街上遇见以前帮他看病的医生，彼此寒暄一阵之后，
医生问他：「身体情况还不错吧？」病人回答：「嗯，你说得
没错！你当时告诉我，等我的病治好以后，很快就可以走动了，
结果你说对了！」医生说：「对呀，早就跟你说过了！你是从
什么时候开始走路的？」病人回答：「自从那时候为了付医药
费给你，不得不把车子卖掉以后」
