一般过去时：

　　我过去常常在早上喝一杯牛奶。(意味着现在早上不喝牛奶了。)

　　3、it is high time (that), it is time (that)…句型中，谓语动词用过去时。

　　例：It is high time they arrived. 他们到得正是时候
