The world's first diamond made from peony-derived carbon elements made its debut on Wednesday in Luoyang, Henan province.
周三（4月17日），世界上第一颗由牡丹碳元素制成的钻石于在河南省洛阳市首次亮相。
The 3-carat diamond was sourced from red peonies from the national flower garden in Luoyang.It was donated to the Luoyang National Peony Garden by Luoyang Time Promise Co.
这颗钻石取材于中国国花园的红牡丹制成，重达3克拉，由洛阳生命宝石科技有限公司制成并捐赠予洛阳国家牡丹园。
"The diamond is valued at 300,000 yuan. It is cultivated from peonies using our biogenic carbon extraction technology, subjected to high temperature and pressure, and then cultivated," said Wang Jing, head of the company.
