Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro is on his first state visit to China. In the meeting after the welcoming ceremony in Beijing, President Xi Jinping said China is willing to import more Brazilian products, and do more in areas including agriculture, energy and infrastructure. He said the two countries’ present opportunities for each other's development and the Tennessee’s bilateral relations as a priority. President Xi said both countries should fight against trade protectionism and embrace multilateralism. President Bolsonaro said he hopes the two sides can expand the trade and investment. He also said Brazil will open up its market and welcome Chinese companies to take part in the country's infrastructure.
