The US and South Korea have agreed to host talks with the DPRK if certain conditions are met.
A South Korean Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that Seoul and Washington were willing to enter into a dialogue on the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. The two countries made the agreement during a visit to South Korea by a US delegation on Thursday.
This comes after US President Donald Trump met with South Korea's presidential envoy at the White House on Wednesday, where Trump said he was willing to resolve the DPRK nuclear crisis through engagement, if "conditions are suitable."
