The Olympic torch relay concluded in Yinchuan, capital city of northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on Tuesday.

The sacred flame was carried by 226 torch bearers across the city along a route stretching 13 kilometers.

Torch bearer Qi Chunxia, former world shooting champion, ran first during the torch relay. She expressed her excitement.

"The torch is relayed to carry peace and friendship to people all over the world. The torch relay is a great event for our city."

Yinchuan is the last leg of the torch relay in Ningxia. The sacred flame will be relayed in Yan'an city in Shaanxi Province on Wednesday.
