The Olympic torch relay was held in Taizhou and Yangzhou cities in east China's Jiangsu Province on Monday.
It was the flame's third and forth stop in Jiangsu Province and the relay ranged 12.8 kilometers with 104 torchbearers in Taizhou and 11 kilometers with the same number of torchbearers in Yangzhou.
At the launching ceremonies of the Taizhou and Yangzhou legs, all of torchbearers and spectators observed a minute of silence to victims of the May 12th earthquake. Donation boxes were also set up along the relay route to collect money for relief work in quake-hit Sichuan province.
The torch relay of Taizhou leg set off in the morning at the hundred-year-old Taizhou high school, and passed by 11 bridges in total in the city, which underlines the feature of Taizhou's landscape.
The torch relay in Yangzhou set out in the afternoon at Han Dyke Relics in the Spring and Autumn Period, which is the rudiment of the Jinghang Canal, or the Great Canal.
The torch relay will continue in Nanjing city in the province on Tuesday.
