According to reports by Beijing TV yesterday, the recently-aired drama, The Tale of Rose,

was the subject of a symposium hosted by the China TV Art Committee and Beijing Radio and TV.
成为了由中国电视艺术委员会和北京市广播电视局主办的一场座谈会的主题。
Leaders from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the NRTA, the Beijing government, as well as creative members of the drama series, including Crystal Liu, participated in the symposium.
来自文化和旅游部、国家广播电视总局、北京市政府的领导，以及该剧的主创成员，包括刘亦菲，都出席了此次座谈会。
The report pointed out that the drama stimulated the film and TV industry in Beijing by filming more than 260 scenes in the city.
报道指出，这部电视剧在北京的260多个场景进行拍摄，刺激了北京的影视产业。
Crystal shared her experience in creating the role of the protagonist, Huang Yimei.
刘亦菲则分享了她塑造主角黄亦玫的经验。
"The reason a rose is a rose is because of it's thorns," the 36-year-old actress explained.
“玫瑰之所以是玫瑰，很重要的点在于它的刺，”这位36岁的女演员解释道。
"The thorns can be understood as her changes and her constancy, her pain, her reserved and rebellious sides, and even her crazy side.

When you realize that the character is infinitely bigger than yourself, you will have a sense of awe."
