Holi is the Festival of Colours, Love and also Spring.
胡里节是色彩节、情人节和春节。
The festival first originated from North India, and it spread to Western India.
这个节日最初起源于印度北部，后来传播到了印度西部。
People all over the world take part in Holi.
世界各地的人们都会参与到胡里节当中。
Hindus and non Hindus can participate in Holi and can have fun.
印度教徒和非印度教徒都可以庆祝胡里节，并且玩得开心。
Holi is important because it's the day when one of the devils got killed by Lord Vishnu.
胡里节很重要，因为在这一天，一个恶魔被毗湿奴神杀死。
Holi is celebrated on two days.
胡里节为期两天。
The first day is about how Holika died, and the second day is the story of Krishna.
第一天是关于恶魔霍利卡是怎么死的，第二天是关于克利须那的故事。
On the first day of Holi, we light a bonfire and we wear traditional dresses.
在胡里节的第一天，我们会点燃篝火，身着传统服装。
And that bonfire represents a story from Prahalad and Holika of good over evil.

The second day is about throwing colours on each other.
第二天是互相扔彩色粉末。
And the second day is the funnest part where we can throw colours at each other and make each other wet with water guns.

We throw the coloured powder because a story of Krishna and Radha, and Krishna thought Radha couldn't love him because he was blue.

So he decided to take a colour party and throw colours at everyone, so they became identical.
