Lee's condition improved as of Monday afternoon, but he is determined to continue with the strike, under medical surveillance.

Not long after, the Seoul Central Prosecutors Office requested an arrest warrant for the DP leader on corruption allegations.

Lee faces two allegations.
李在明面临两项指控。
The first is that he gave special favors to a private developer in Seongnam's Baekhyeon-dong district apartment project between 2014 and 2015, when he served as the city's mayor.

The prosecution says this cost the city around 20 billion Korean won, or about 15 million U.S. dollars.
