New research shows a nap a day could keep the doctor away by helping our brains stay sharp.

一项新研究表明,每天小睡一会儿可以帮助我们的大脑保持敏捷,从而让医生远离我们。
"We have this really strong belief in Western society that we shouldn't sleep during the day.

Researchers analyzed DNA samples and brain scans from 35,000 people between 40 and 69 years old.

They found nappers who took a short daytime snooze helped preserve the health of their brain as though it were 2.5 to 6.5 years younger.
他们发现,在白天小睡一会儿的人,有助于保持大脑健康,相当于让其年轻2.5岁到6.5岁。
