Atlanta Hawks announcer Bob Rathbun suffering a medical emergency during pre-game coverage of Monday's Hawks-Thunder matchup.

The 68-year-old live courtside with broadcast partner Dominique Wilkins, first appearing disoriented, falling back into his chair, and losing consciousness and starting to convulse.

Medical professionals already at the game then rush into Rathbun's side, saying they treated him for dehydration and took him to an Atlanta hospital.

Balley Sports Southeast saying in a statement,

"Rathbun briefly lost consciousness on the court, and spent a night in the hospital where his test results were very favorable," adding that "Bob is in great spirit".

And several of Rathbun's co-workers say they have heard from him and he's all right, just a bit exhausted.

And we have learned he's going to have a few more tests done at the hospital this morning that he should be cleared to head home.
