Shanghai Metro has confirmed that a woman died on Saturday after getting caught in the platform's screen door on Metro Line 15 despite being rushed to hospital for treatment.

The incident happened at Qi'an Road Station on Metro Line 15 at around 4:30 pm when the passenger was exiting the train.
